Join a collaborative, high-performing team at one of Birmingham's leading hospitals. TeamHealth is seeking a nocturnist critical care advanced practice clinician to join our team at Baptist Health - Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Facility Details

Beds: 505-bed acute care facility
Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is a large, high-acuity community hospital serving western Jefferson County and the greater Birmingham metro, with a long history as a teaching and referral facility
Total ICU/step-down beds: 54 beds
EPIC EMR for efficient documentation

Position Overview

Flexible block schedule model
Full-time night shift: 6p-6a
Competitive compensation package
Critical care background is required
Procedure experience highly preferred; no intubations or chest tubes required
Typical responsibilities: acute issues, admissions, consults, and emergency procedures (central and arterial lines); anesthesia team in-house for intubations
Average census: 40
Solo clinician coverage required on nights; ICU physician on call for back-up as needed
