Membership Info

Regular Membership in NANPA is available to Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Students, Nurse Midwives and Clinical Nurse Specialists. Affiliate Memberships are available to Physician Assistants, Physicians, Advanced Degree Faculty Members and other selected professions on a case specific basis. Membership is accomplished by completing a Membership Application (available on this website and at each monthly meeting) and a membership fee.

Annual dues entitle NANPA members to a copy of the annual NANPA directory, admission to monthly CEU dinners and selected NANPA functions. The dues for membership are $30.00 annually. Dues for 2009 can be paid beginning at the 2008 Symposium. Those members who pay their dues by April will be included in the annual directory; those members who pay by June will be able to register for the Symposium at the discount rate.

Each year, current NANPA members will receive a notification to renew annual dues. The future of NANPA is strong and will include sponsorship of various events effectively marketing Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Nurses. Memberships dues help make this possible.

Many NANPA members change practice and/or employment status during the year. Updating changes in personal/professional status is the responsibility of each NANPA member and can be accomplished through the website or by completing an Information Update form at the monthly meeting.

That as a member of NANPA, a group member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Association (AANP), you receive a $10.00 discount on your AANP membership dues? And.... that 90% of your membership dues to the AANP are Tax Deductible?

Associate Member ($99.00)

Student Member ($49.00)

Group Member (varies)

So, as a Full member of the AANP, your annual dues are $89.00 (instead of $99.00) in all, less 10% of that $89.00, is Tax Deductible!
